Serbian President Vucic meets Kosovo Serb political leaders, sits next to Radoicic sanctioned by US

Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, hosted Friday in Belgrade representatives of the Sprska List, a political entity representing Serbs in Kosovo. Based on the video and photos published by media in Belgrade the meeting was attended also by deputy head of Srpska List, Milan Radoicic, who has been blacklisted by the US for being member of an “organized crime group” dealing in illicit goods, money, drugs and weapons.

The US Treasury Office’s of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC, in December imposed sanctions on a group of Kosovo Serb businessmen, including controversial figure Radocic, who is deputy head of Srpska List backed by Belgrade. During Friday’s meeting in Belgrade, was seen also Director of Serbian Government Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic and minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin. Present in the meeting are chairman of the Srpska List, Goran Rakic and members Slavko Simic and Dalibor Jevtic.

Holding of Serbia’s referendum in Kosovo is the main topic of discussion. Kosovo authorities are opposing organising of Serbia’s referendum in Kosovo. Ambassadors of QUINT and the European Union urged Prime Minister Albin Kurti to allow Kosovo Serbs vote in the referendum based on past practices. Kurti after meeting Ambassadors of QUINT said that he will call an urgent session of the Assembly for tomorrow (Saturday) at 14:00. /GazetaExpress/
