The EU has not set a deadline for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue

The European Union has not set a date for the end of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, EU spokesman Peter Stano said on Friday at a press conference.

“It is important for us not to set an artificial deadline, but we are not interested in prolonging this process indefinitely. The interest is to help the two parties reach a legally binding agreement on the normalization of relations (between Kosovo and Serbia). Time is in their hands because in the end it takes their will to reach an agreement. We do not impose anything; we are mediators,” said Stano, without indicating whether there will initially be a final agreement, or an evaluation of the implementation of the agreements that have been reached so far is expected.

Stano refused to comment on the statements of the parties (Kosovo and Serbia) after Thursday’s meeting in Brussels. He said, however, that “the most important thing is that dialogue and talks are continuing, and the topics are being discussed one by one.”

He also did not want to comment on the issue of the Specialist Chambers documents that ended up in the offices of the Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization (KLAWVO), saying that “it is not up to the EU to comment on these incidents.” /GazetaExpress/
