Kosovo PM Kurti and EUSR Lajcak discuss Dialogue process

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met Friday the EU Special Representative for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Mirsoalv Lajcak, on the sidelines of Delphi Economic Forum.

The Prime Minister’s Press Service said that Kurti discussed with Lajcak on Kosovo’s Government work and reconfirmed that European and Euro-Atlantic integrations have no alternative. He emphasized the necessity of the EU help in this journey.

During the meeting Kurti and Lajcak discussed also on Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue and next steps in this process.

Kurti said the Government of Kosovo remains committed to a principled and balanced Dialogue. He reiterated that the citizens of both countries should benefit the Dialogue, through a sustainable and implementable agreement centered on mutual recognition.

“It was discussed also on the issue of vehicle license plates between Kosovo and Serbia. The Prime Minister reminded that the deadline on reaching an agreement based on standards and EU best practices, expires in two weeks,” according to the press release. During the meeting, it was discussed also on Russia’s invasion and unprovoked aggression in Ukraine and the impact in the Western Balkan region and Europe. /GazetaExpress/
