8 new COVID-19 cases in Kosovo, no new deaths

The National Institute of Public Health reported eight new cases of COVID-19 and no new confirmed deaths related to the virus in Kosovo on Friday.

According to the latest update of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, 5,438 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the last 24 hours. 250,658 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered since the vaccination started.

To date, 63,301 citizens have been vaccinated with the second dose.

Of 1,353 tests made, 8 citizens tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. No cases of death have been reported in the last 24 hours. 10 citizens have recovered today, while the total number of citizens recovered is 105,422. The total number of active cases is 149. /GazetaExpress/
