Kosovo and Serbia to discuss in Brussels settlement of financial claims and property issues

Kosovo Government in a statement said that State Coordinator on Dialogue, Skender Hyseni, has travelled to Brussels when on Thursday he will meet Serbia’s delegation as part of the EU-facilitated dialogue.

According to Kosovo Government during the meeting, which will be facilitated by EU’s Special Representative on Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will be discussed settlement of financial claims and property issues as well as other topics discussed in earlier meetings. Serbia will be represented by former director of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, who recently stepped down from the position to be appointed as Serbia’s Ambassador to US.

The European Union confirmed Tuesday resumption of the Dialogue after a one month pause due to COVID-19 pandemic. Media reported that the dialogue was halted after Kosovo refused to renegotiate the Agreement on Association of Serb-majority Municipalities as requested by Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
