Kosovo PM Kurti speaks by phone with German Foreign Minister, Heiko Maas

Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti and German Foreign Minister Spoke by phone on Tuesday, Gazeta Express reports.

Kurti in a statement posted on Twitter said that he had a productive phone call with German Foreign Minister highlighting Kosovo’s European perspective and strong bilateral relations.

“Productive phone call with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas highlighting Kosova‘s EU perspective and our strong bilateral relations. Germany is a critical member of the EU and we share the same vision for a democratic WB6, committed to full membership of the EU and NATO,” Kurti said.

German Foreign Ministry also issued a statement on its official Twitter account saying that FM Masas told Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti that it is a key priority for Germany to provide a perspective within the EU to the states of the Western Balkans. “The EU-led normalization dialogue with Serbia remains crucial to this end,” the German Foreign Ministry tweeted. /GazetaExpress/
