Kosovo Government approves a €100 million aid package, about 800 thousand citizens to benefit €100 in April

To ease the impact of rising global prices and its impact in Kosovo’s economy the Government has approved Wednesday a €100 million aid package for pensioners, public and private sector workers, students, and families in need – totaling 800,000 beneficiaries.

According to the Government decision all beneficiaries of social scheme, pensioners, and workers of public and private sector will receive 100 euro in April. The Prime Minister Albin Kurti presenting the new aid package said that about 800 thousand citizens will benefit the decision.

Minister of Finances, Hekuran Murati, has said that those who receive salaries from the state budget will receive the aid in the next regular salary, whereas workers of private sector should apply for the aid. Murati said that the application procedures will be published in coming days. /GazetaExpress/
