Kosovo Army strengthens its operational capacities

Kosovo Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, accompanied by the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) commander, General Lieutenant Rrahman Rama and General Secretary of the Ministry, Rozafa Ukimeraj, visited Monday the new contingent of the tactical HMMVW vehicles at the KSF barracks “Adem Jashari’ in Pristina.  

The Ministry of Defense in a statement said that the KSF is strengthening its operational and tactical capacities, by increasing capacities with new equipment, purchased based on the budget planned for the 1-year Development Plan of the KSF.

According to the Ministry of Defense increase of capacities with new tactical equipment is in line with the Comprehensive Plan on Transformation and increase of KSF capacities to carry out its constitutional mission. The Ministry says with the increase of technical capacities KSF is reaching NATO standards. /GazetaExpress/
