Former NATO supreme commander Europe, General Wesley Clark, is set to visit Kosovo on Wednesday.
Clark is honored as a hero in Kosovo for leading the Western military alliance’s 78 days of air strikes against Yugoslavia, which forced President Slobodan Milosevic to withdraw his forces from Kosovo in June 1999, Gazeta Express reports.
The US retired General Clark during his stay in Kosovo will visit the Kosovo Security Force (KSF). The Ministry of Defense has announced the KSF ceremonial guard will welcome him with the highest military honors. After the ceremony Minister of Defence Armend Mehaj and General Clark will address media. /GazetaExpress/
