Kosovo’s LGBTI Pride Parade took place for the fifth time in the capital, Pristina Thursday.

Hundreds of members of LGBTI community, activists, Ambassadors, gathered in Pristina’s Main square attending the main event dubbed “Together and Proud” of the Pride Week activities taking place in Kosovo.

Despite large number of people in support of LGBTI community, the Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani were not seen in today’s Pride Parade. Lend Mustafa from the Centre for Equality and Liberty of the LGBT community in Kosova (CEL) has criticized state leaders for ignoring the parade. Today’s parade has been attended by the Ambassadors of the United States and Finland.
