Pilot draws giant heart in sky above Kosovo

A swiss pilot draw a giant heart in the sky above Kosovo on Saturday aimed at encouraging Kosovo people amidst coronavirus pandemic.

Kosovo’s caretaker minister of Infrastructure, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that a Swiss pilot flying for the Chair company from Zurich to Pristina, made a diversion to form a heart over Kosovo sky. Abdixhiku said that the Swiss pilot wanted to encourage Kosovo on its fight against coronavirus. “He asked for permission from the Tower; permission was given. The results, a giant heart above airspace of the Republic of Kosovo,” minister Abdixhiku wrote. The photo of Abdixhiku posted on his Facebook went viral Saturday on social media as country’s authorities have introduced restriction measures and are urging people to stay at home aimed at preventing further spread of COVID-19. On Friday evening health authorities confirmed 23 new coronavirus cases. The new cases bring the county’s total count to 250, including seven deaths from the virus. /GazetaExpress/
