Kosovo’s Municipality of Ferizaj quarantined after surge of COVID-19 cases

Kosovo’s ministry of Health has declared the municipality of Ferizaj as quarantine area after 18 new coronavirus cases were confirmed Friday bringing the total number of this municipality to 20.

Mayor of Ferizaj Agim Aliu said Saturday that he has received the decision of the Ministry of Health putting this municipality under quarantine to prevent further spread of virus.

Kosovo health authorities confirmed on Friday 23 new cases of coronavirus, including 18 cases from the Ferizaj area. The total number of those infected with COVID-19 countrywide on Friday jumped to 250, including seven deaths from the deadly virus. /GazetaExpress/
