Kosovo President urges EU to deliver on visa liberalisation promises

Kosovo President, Vjosa Osmani, as part of her official visit to Austria met Wednesday representatives of the Austria-Kosovo Friendship Association, led by Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Lukas Mandl.

The President’s Office said in a statement that Osmani thanked Austria for supporting Kosovo and reiterated that Kosovo has already fulfilled all the criteria on visa liberalisation and urged the EU to liberalise visas for Kosovo citizens.  Osmani expressed her belief that Austria will continue supporting Kosovo’s EU and Euro-Atlantic integration path.

Osmani also met a group of successful women in Austria, on the auspices and invitation of the Austrian First Lady, Doris Schmidauer, which was attended by Austrian Minister of Justice, Alma Zadic, former European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo, Ulrike Lunacek, and other women successful in business, academia, politics, and civil society. /GazetaExpress/
