Kosovo Army peacekeepers raise flag in Kuwait

The Kosovo Security Force (KSF) members part of the US-led peacekeeping mission in Kuwait raised the flag of Kosovo for the first time since their deployment there, Gazeta Express reports.

Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement that Kosovo is committed to peace and security worldwide. “The flag of the Republic of Kosovo has been raised for the first time by KSF’s peacekeeping troops in Kuwait, as members of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense thanked the US Army and National Guard of Iowa for inviting Kosovo troops to their peacekeeping mission in Kuwait. /GazetaExpress/
