On the eve of Court’s decision, Vetevendosje confirms it plans to gather tomorrow 5,000 people

Vetevendosje has confirmed that on Thursday they will hold the second rehearsal for a protest in Pristina Square, next to the government building. Up to 5,000 people are expected to attend this time.

According Vetevendosje, this is being done “due to the interest of many citizens”.  By Friday, the Constitutional Court is expected to interpret the legality of the president’s decree on the prime minister-designate. Kurti denied today the allegations that the ease of restrictive measures has anything to do with the preparations for the protest, saying that the protest is the right of the citizens. The Vetevendosje has challenged President’s decree at the Constitutional Court and are insisting to hold new elections after no-confidence vote in Kurti’s Government on 25 March. Thaci has mandated Avdullah Hoti of the LDK to form new Government. The Constitutional Court has imposed an interim measure on President’s decree until 29 May pending a final ruling. /GazetaExpress/
