Kosovo to open embassy in Jerusalem on Monday, according to Israeli media

Israeli media Israel Hayom is reporting that Kosovo will open its embassy in Jerusalem on Monday after the two countries established diplomatic relations on 1 February.

Kosovo is set to become the third country to open an embassy in Jerusalem. The Israel Hayom has learned senior diplomats from both countries will attend the ceremony marking the embassy’s opening to be held in central Jerusalem, Monday.

Kosovo’s decision to open its embassy in Jerusalem has been criticised by the European Union and Turkey.  

Israel is 117^th country to recognise Kosovo as independent state. /GazetaExpress/
