Kosovo reports 159 new coronavirus cases, no additional deaths Thursday

Kosovo health officials on Thursday reported 159 new COVID-19 cases and no additional virus-related deaths in the last 24 hours.

Minister of Health Armend Zemaj in a Facebook post said that health authorities have carried out a record number of COVID-19 tests. “Out of 1,245 tested samples, 159 have resulted positive with the virus. No additional deaths have been reported,” Zemaj said.

The National Institute of Public Health in its daily report said there have now been 17,422 confirmed cases and 657 virus-related deaths in Kosovo. In the last 24 hours 58 additional patients have recovered. According to official data there are 1,871 active coronavirus cases in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
