Kosovo PM asks Bosnia-Herzegovina wave visas, open liaison offices

Kosovo prime minister Avdullah Hoti spoke Monday over the phone with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic.

PM Hoti thanked Dzaferovic for his initiative on recognition of Kosovo’s independence, and asked him to continue efforts for Bosnia and Herzegovina wave visas for Kosovo citizens as soon as possible.

PM Hoti said the Republic of Kosovo is ready to consider opening of liaison offices between the two countries, as well as deepening cooperation in the education and culture, the Government of Kosovo said in a statement.

Las month, the three-member Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, failed to reach a consensus and agree on recognition of Kosovo. Dzaferovic, the Bosniak member of the presidency and Zeljko Komsic, Croatian member of the presidency, voted in favour, while Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member, voted against. /GazetaExpress/
