5 family members dead in murder-suicide in Kosovo town

Five family members died after a shooting Tuesday at a home in Kosovo town of Gjilan, the State Prosecution Office confirmed in a statement, Gazeta Express reports.

The Prosecution Office of Gjilan said in statement that a Kosovo Police officer shot four members of her family and then turned the gun on herself. “Based on preliminary investigation, it is suspected the police officer V.B, working in the police station of Gjilan, has shot dead her parents and two of her brothers, and then committed suicide,” it is stated in the press release. The Kosovo Police responded to the scene, the prosecutor on duty and medical teams, who confirmed their death. /GazetaExpress/
