Albanian-Americans: The letter for Kosovo was sent to us by Joe Biden’s office

A document with Joe Biden’s commitments to Albanians was distributed over the weekend. Although doubts have been raised about the authenticity of this document, the Albanian-American representatives, who published this letter, say that it is original and was sent to them by Biden’s election group.

Biden, according to a one-page document bearing his name as the Democratic candidate for president, has thought specifically about Albanians, Kosovo, and Albania.

Following the doubts raised about the authenticity of the document, Gazeta Express reached out Anila Nicklos, member of the organizing group of the Albanian-American campaign ‘Biden for president’.

“The document is authentic. It was sent by the representatives of ‘Biden for President’ to our organizing group ‘Albanian Americans for Biden-Harris,’” said Nicklos. “On 8 October, our group organized a large rally in cooperation with the representatives of ‘Biden for President.’”

In the letter that was published by the Kosovo media, Biden’s commitments to Kosovo are listed, starting from the raising of the voice at the US Congress against the Slobodan Milosevic regime.

For the present and the future, the document states that Biden considers Trump’s approach to Kosovo and Serbia “unbalanced”.

It says that Biden, if elected, will co-operate with the European Union to revitalize the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
