Pregnant woman with coronavirus dies in Kosovo

A pregnant woman who tested positive for coronavirus and her unborn baby died Tuesday in Pristina hospital.

The University Clinical Centre of Kosovo in a press statement said the patient identified only with her initials V.P. (40) from Gjakova municipality was in intensive care since 15 April. Today’s death from COVID-19 brings country’s total to 16.

Kosovo has reported 598 coronavirus cases, and 123 out of them have recovered. The University Clinics announced that currently they are treating 55 patients with coronavirus. Of them one is in critical condition, 12 are being treated with oxygen therapy and intensive care, whereas 42 others are in stable condition. /GazetaExpress/
