The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has stated that the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue only makes sense if mutual recognition is discussed, on the contrary the dialogue will fail.
“I have already said that the dialogue makes sense only if the proposal for mutual recognition is put on the table, otherwise it is completely meaningless, completely unnecessary, failed and in favor of Serbia,” he said.
Pristina and Belgrade technical teams met last week in Brussels after more than two months halt. The dialogue was blocked in September after Serbia asked renegotiation of the Agreement on establishment of Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. Kosovo prime minister Avdullah Hoti who leads the dialogue with Serbia, keeps insisting that the Association is a closed topic and will not be renegotiated. /GazetaExpress/
