The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo on Monday filed terrorism charges against a woman who allegedly joined a terror group in Syria.
A State Prosecution statement said the defendant woman identified as J.L. left Kosovo on 12.09. 2014 together with her mother and sister and went to neighboring Skopje, North Macedonia, and then to Turkey where they crossed the Syrian border to join the Islamic State group.
The defendant is part of a group of 110 Kosovo citizens who in April 2019 were repatriated from Syria. She is charged with organization and participation in a terror group. /GazetaExpress/
