US President Donald Trump’s special envoy on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, who helped broker the agreements to restore air and railway traffic between the two countries told the Associated Press that further progress has been made in working out the details of the railway deal.
“We made good progress this morning on issuing a Letter of Intent on railway cooperation,” Grenell, who is the U.S. ambassador to Germany, said after a meeting Monday in Berlin between the delegations. “The discussions went well enough that we also discussed other issues.”
Kosovo was represented in Berlin by Xheme Veseli, director of the Road Transport Department, and Rame Qupeva, Director of the Road Infrastructure Department within Kosovo’s Ministry of Infrastructure. Whereas Belgrade was represented by the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric. /GazetaExpress/
