Leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), revealed on Tuesday that the Vetevendosje asked him to negotiate creation of a coalition.
“They should not mislead public opinion on isolation and at the same time send messengers to jointly create a government,” Veseli said in an interview with the online media Reporteri. However, Veseli said that the PDK will be part of the opposition political parties, in accordance with the 6 October election results. The ruling coalition Vetevendosje-LDK lasted only 50 days, as it was overthrown by a no-confidence motion that was initiated by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) after Prime Minister Albin Kurti dismissed the Minister of Internal Affairs, Agim Veliu, a senior member of the LDK, who opposed Kurti’s intent to declare state of emergency due to coronavirus pandemic and sided with President Hashim Thaci who called for declaration of the state of emergency. /GazetaExpress/
