No rivalry US-EU on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, says Palmer

Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Palmer and the EU special representative on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, said on Wednesday that the US and EU are not rivals and have the same vision and goal for the Western Balkan region.

In a video conference on Balkans and dialogue organised by Concordia, East-West Institute, Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence (BFPE), Palmer said the US remains engaged in the region aimed at normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.  

Member of the European Parliament and Rapporteur for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon said that she expects a final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia be reached during the Paris Conference which is expected to be held in autumn this year. /GazetaExpress/
