Kosovo President publishes a video of a drug lab and accuses PM Kurti, Interior Minister of spoliation of evidence

Kosovo president Hashim Thaci published in his Facebook a video showing a drugs laboratory, claiming that caretaker prime minister Albin Kurti, and minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Svecla, tried to “wipe out” the evidence.

According to Thaci the video shows the incrimination of “Kurti’s Group” and “political family” of the caretaker minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, Gazeta Express reports. Thaci said the video of the drug lab in Pristina proves implications of this group adding that the acting minister of Interior, Svecla has tried spoliation of evidence from the store of the confiscated and sequestrated assets. President Thaci called on authorities to react and bring them to justice.

“The video shows one of the incriminations of the Kurti’s Group and political family of the Minister of Justice. These are the footage from a drug laboratory in Pristina, who with the other member of this criminal group, Xhelal Svecla, a few days ago tried to erase as incriminating facts from the store of the confiscated and sequestrated assets. Time has come they face justice,” Thaci wrote on Facebook. His accusations come a day after during a televised interview Thaci accused Kurti and Svecla of illegally entering the Post of Kosovo wiretapped room, a statement which was denied by Kurti who called on the prosecution office to react and interview Thaci about his claims. /GazetaExpress/
