Kosovo former fighter found in burned car was shot, killed

Former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) member, Qerim Kelmendi, was found dead inside burning car in the village Zahaq of Peja Municipality on Thursday morning.

Kelmendi was one of the first members of the KLA which fought against Sebrian forces in 1998-1999 war. He was known to public for his criticism to the peaceful movement in Kosovo during 90’s led by late president Ibrahim Rugova.  

The Kosovo Police have issued a press release confirming that a body was found inside a burning car. According to preliminary investigations the victim was shot and killed and burned in his car. /GazetaExpress/
