Kosovo will restore full reciprocity with Serbia if no agreement is reached, says PM Hoti

Prime Minister Abdullah Hoti said he was confident that the dialogue with Serbia will be finalized within a few months.

Answering MPs questions at the Parliament session today, Hoti said that the dialogue will be concluded with mutual recognition, otherwise it will be ascertained together with international partners that there will be no agreement at all and then there will be full reciprocity with Serbia.

“This dialogue is only about the final agreement with mutual recognition,” he said. “This dialogue is a matter of months; I have no doubts. I do not know if it will end with mutual recognition. However, I would like it to end with recognition. I know that it will end in a few months and we will either bring a mutual recognition agreement at this Assembly, or we will conclude together with the partners that this agreement cannot be reached. I guarantee you that (if no agreement is reached) we will apply full reciprocity in every aspect with Serbia.” /GazetaExpress/
