Kosovo sets record for daily coronavirus deaths

Kosovo registered record number of coronavirus deaths over the last 24 hours, the health authorities said on Saturday. The University Clinical Centre of Kosovo confirmed the deaths of six patients who tested positive for the coronavirus in 24 hours. Kosovo now registered 64 deaths and over 3.000 confirmed positive cases.

A source within the Clinics of Infectious Diseases told Gazeta Express that all victims had other health conditions. The youngest victim was only 38.

Kosovo health authorities announced that there are 3.178 confirmed coronavirus cases in Kosovo. The country saw surge of cases after authorities have decided to lift most of the restrictions. Of all confirmed cases almost 40 percent of the patients are from capital Pristina. /GazetaExpress/
