US President Trump worked hard for Kosovo-Serbia flights to resume

US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, has commented the agreement reached on Monday between Kosovo and Serbia to launch direct commercial flights in a deal mediated by the United States.

Kosnett said the US President Trump and his team worked hard to reach this agreement, which as he said, is only the beginning of the bright future for our friends in Kosovo and Serbia. “As President Trump said yesterday, this step is a win for the region. Thanks to Ambassador Grenell and NSA O’Brien for their leadership,” Kosnett Tweeted on Tuesday.

Monday’s agreement was signed at the U.S. embassy in Berlin and was welcomed by President Trump himself in Twitter. “Everyone said it couldn’t be done. But for the first time in a generation, there will be direct flights between Serbia and Kosovo. Another win,” Trump said. /GazetaExpress/
