US Ambassador to Pristina, Philip Kosnett, in a statement posted in Twitter said he is pleased to see the Parliament of Kosovo hold a session on the no-confidence vote in Albin Kurti’s Government on Wednesday.

“Pleased to see the Assembly will hold a session on the no-confidence vote tomorrow,” Kosnett said in Twitter after Parliament’s Presidency agreed for the lawmakers convene on Wednesday at 11:00 and vote a motion of no-confidence in Government initiated by junior ruling coalition partner – the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).

Ambassador Kosnett said that he told PM Kurti at it is important for the Parliament and all Kosovo institutions to respect the Constitution. “Pleased to see the Assembly will hold a session on the no-confidence vote tomorrow.   As I told the PM today, it is important for the Assembly and all Kosovo institutions to respect the Constitution,” Kosnett said.

The Parliament of Kosovo is set to convene on Wednesday and vote the no-confidence motion in Government. Ruling coalition partner – the LDK initiated the motion after PM Kurti sacked minister of Interior, Agim Veliu, without consulting them. /GazetaExpress/
