Kosovo Police at the scene after Serbs removed Albanian flag from Koshare

A video of a Serbian priest removing the Albanian flag from the abandoned Serbian military border barracks at Koshare which in April 1999 was captured by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) went viral Thursday by Belgrade media.

Following Serb media reports the Kosovo Police has sent its units to the scene. Police spokesperson for the Gjakova region, Nysret Xhurkaj, confirmed to Gazeta Express that the police are investigating the case.

Belgrade daily Novosti published on its website a video showing a Serbian orthodox priest removing the Albanian flag from the former Serbian army military barracks. The daily said that the flag was hanging at the watching tower of the barracks since the KLA captured the border post in 1999. /GazetaExpress/
