The chairwoman of the Assembly Committee for Oversight of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Ganimete Musliu, has announced that she has called the KIA chief Petrit Ajeti to an urgent meeting to discuss his statement that Serbian secret services plotted to kill him and blame it on Kosovo.

“I took the opportunity to be informed by the director of the KIA,” Musliu said, emphasizing that they discussed the reporting on the assassination plot of the former Council of Europe rapporteur Dick Marty. “Kosovo should cooperate with the European Union on this case,” said Musliu, who believes that Marty may have been “instigated or forced to investigate allegations fabricated by the Serbian and Russian secret services about organ trafficking.” Musliu said that the institutions should be informed which secret services had given Marty evidence and proof, based on which the Specialist Chambers were established. “The very fact that we do not have any official statement, even from the KIA meeting, is to be worried,” she said. Musliu said that today’s meeting was boycotted by members of the committee of ruling party of Vetevendosje. /GazetaExpress/
