Jessica Simpson Takes Lookalike Daughter to Paris For 13th Birthday Amid Divorce

Amid her ongoing divorce from husband Eric Johnson, Jessica Simpson treated her eldest child, daughter Maxwell, to a lavish trip to Paris, France, to celebrate her 13th birthday.

On Mother’s Day, May 11, Simpson took to Instagram to share an update. It started as an ode to motherhood and the holiday, with Simpson writing, “Happy Mother’s Day to ALL! Life doesn’t come with instructions… it comes with Mamas! A Mother’s love is something no one could ever explain.” She then pivoted, declaring, “My oldest, Maxwell, turned 13 in Paris on May 1st!!!”

“Maxwell is indeed a drama free intuitive feelin’ empath. She is an inspiration to all who know her, follow her and confide in her. My Mom surprised us with the most beautiful celebration of Parisian life and love. 3 generations 3 connected hearts 3 spirit filled souls 3 women who smile, laugh and shine brighter through it all ✨💛💛💛✨,” she wrote in a sweet tribute to Maxwell.

The singer concluded by writing, “It is official…I AM THE MOTHER OF A TEENAGER and I LOVE IT.

Based on the caption, the trip to Paris was a gift from Simpson’s mother, Tina, to her and her daughter. In the photos, the birthday girl looked happy and excited to explore the French city, going to galleries and restaurants, and posing for photos.

“Girl power!!!!!🙌🤘,” wrote a fan in the comments, while others chimed in to say, “So kind of your mama to build that memory for the three of you. ❤️,” and “So awesome! A beautiful city to turn into a teenager in! Happy MAX Day!”

Along with Maxwell, Simpson also shares a son named Ace and a daughter named Birdie with Johnson.
