Head of DFC Office in Belgrade dismissed

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has dismissed John Jovanovic, as the director of its regional office for the Western Balkans in Belgrade.

The news was confirmed by Jovanovic who said that there is a new management in the DFC Office in Washington who will continue working in the Western Balkans. “I am honoured that by opening an office in Belgrade, we have laid the foundations for serious economic engagement of the U.S. in Serbia and the region of the Western Balkans,” Jovanovic said, according to media in Belgrade.

The DFC Office in Belgrade was opened in September 2020.

Shortly after assuming office in January, the administration of US President Joe Biden appointed Dev Jagadesan as the acting CEO of DFC, replacing Adam Boehler. /GazetaExpress/
