Five people were injured and one was taken to the UCCK in Pristina as a result of an accident on the Gjilan-Kamenica road.
Police spokesman for the Gjilan region, Ismet Hashani, told Gazeta Express that two cars were involved in the accident.
"I inform you that today, 25.05.2026, at around 15:50, the Kosovo Police in Gjilan received information about a traffic accident with injuries on the Gjilan-Kamenica road, at the exit of the village of Kemtoc, Municipality of Gjilan. First aid, the Regional Traffic Unit and accident investigators have arrived at the scene. From the initial investigations, we are informed that two vehicles were involved in the accident, where five people received bodily injuries, who were sent by First Aid to the Emergency Department of the Regional Hospital in Gjilan, where one of them was then transferred to the UCCK for further treatment, while the other four were released," he said in a written response.
Hashani said that the Police "are investigating the causes and circumstances of how this accident occurred."
