PDK's candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, has announced a meeting with the head of NISMA, Fatmir Limaj.
In confirming Limaj's support, Hamza states that "this support is an important step towards long-term political, institutional, governmental and party cooperation, for stability, development and a stronger Kosovo."
He says Limaj "will support the Democratic Party of Kosovo in the June 7 elections – and not only."
His full announcement:
Yes, Fatmir Limaj will support the Democratic Party of Kosovo in the June 7 elections – and not only.
With Fatmir, we have been united by values, ideals and responsibility for the country. The same values are bringing us closer and are reuniting us again today, at a time when Kosovo needs unity, seriousness and cooperation in the interest of its citizens more than ever. These are values that are shared by both our electorate and that of NISMA.
This support is an important step towards long-term political, institutional, governmental and party cooperation, for stability, development and a stronger Kosovo.
I thank my old friend, Fatmir, for her honesty, support, and willingness to be part of this shared journey.
To our supporters across Kosovo and in the diaspora, I say only one thing: on June 7, together we will say STOP to the crisis and we will change Kosovo!
