Kosovo’s outgoing prime minister Albin Kurti sacked first deputy prime minister Avdullah Hoti minutes after the Parliament voted a no-confidence motion in Government initiated by by Hoti’s party – LDK, the junior coalition partner with Kurti’s Vetevendosje.
“The outgoing prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has decided to release from duties outgoing first deputy prime minister, Avdullah Hot,” according to a statement issued by Prime Minister’s Office. The LDK initiated last week a no-confidence motion in Government after PM Kurti dismissed minister of Interior, Agim Veliu, a senior member of the LDK, in a row over coronavirus measures. /GazetaExpress/
