Isa Mustafa who is leader of the LDK, part of the ruling coalition, said the Government’s decision to restrict public movement must get Parliament’s approval with two third of votes.

“The decision to restrict freedom of movement and human rights, can be taken only with two third of votes of MPs and not Government,” Mustafa said adding that every other decision goes against the Constitution. “The Government should reconsider its decision and act in accordance with the situation created and address the Parliament.” Mustafa said.

Mustafa’s party the LDK filed last week a motion of no-confidence in Albin Kurti’s Government after the Prime Minister sacked minister of Interior, Agim Veliu who is senior member of the LDK. PM Kurti decided to dismiss Veliu because of the disagreements over the coronavirus measures. The move led the LDK to initiate a no-confidence motion in Government which has been already proceeded to the Assembly and was supported also by the opposition parties. Deputy Speaker of Parliament from Vetevendosje, Arberie Nagavci told media on Monday that it is unlikely for Parliament to convene due to coronavirus outbreak. /GazetaExpress/
