The US State Department in a Tweet has welcomed the first Kosovo’s diplomatic liaison officer to the State Department, calling this move as historic arrangement, Gazeta Express reports.
In the Tweet the US State Department Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs us written that this agreement will further strengthen understanding and cooperation between the US and Kosovo.
“Today State Department NEA welcomed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo’s Merdiana Leci as Kosovo’s first diplomatic liaison officer with State Department. This historic arrangement will further strengthen understanding and cooperation between the United States, Kosovo, and partners on shared foreign policy priorities,” it is written in the statement.
