A Kosovo bus carrying 29 people, including six children, was involved in a traffic accident Tuesday morning near the town of Kyustendil in Bulgaria. According to Bulgarian media Struma, only the driver sustained injuries after the bus collided with a logging truck, Gazeta Express reports.
Reportedly the driver of the truck was trying to signal other traffic participants that a tree fell in the road. The bus collided with the truck and swerved off the road. The Bulgarian police have examined the scene, and a preliminary investigation has been launched.
In November 2021 46 people, including 12 children, died when a bus crashed and caught fire in western Bulgaria. The bus was registered in North Macedonia and most of those on board were North Macedonia Albanian tourists returning from a trip to Istanbul in Turkey. /GazetaExpress/
