The Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti, whose party won 14 February early election, hosted Monday European Union Special Representative on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

After the meeting Kurti, who is prime minister designate, told T7 that Lajcak informed him on the dialogue process in general. “I explained to him once gain that we have won the election and our program will be focused on justice and employment, and now we are amidst COVID-19 pandemic. We are not against the dialogue, but we want principled and well-prepared talks,” Kurti said.

“[Thew dialogue] cannot be our first or second priority, because we have justice and employment. I do not negate the importance of the dialogue – for the EU; Kosovo and Serbia as well as the region, but most important is that this dialogue to be well prepared. The dialogue should be sincere and not to be under time pressure, but we remain committed to a substantial dialogue,” Kurti said.

Miroslav Lajcak arrived Monday afternoon in Pristina and on Tuesday morning he will meet Kosovo’s acting president, Vjosa Osmani. The meeting will be held at the President’s Cabinet at 08:00. After the meeting Lajak and Osmani will hold a joint press conference. /GazetaExpress/
