US Supports a Comprehensive Agreement Between Kosovo and Serbia, says Hyseni

Kosovo State Coordinator in Dialogue with Serbia, Skender Hyseni, met today in Washington Matthew Palmer, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. Palmer is also a special envoy on the Western Balkans.  

Hyseni in a Facebook post said that he had a substantial meeting with Palmer informing him on the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade held in Brussels. Hyseni said that he had an open discussion with Palmer aimed at coordination of the dialogue process, which as he said should be concluded without further delay with mutual recognition and normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

Kosovo Dialogue Coordinator said that he asked the US be actively engaged in the EU-facilitated dialogue in Brussels. “Mr Palmer emphasized that the US support the Brussels dialogue adding that America will be with You during the entire process, strongly supporting a just, sustainable and comprehensive agreement,” Hyseni wrote on Facebook. /GazetaExpress/
