Presidents of Albania, Kosovo met in Tirana

Kosovo president Hashim Thaci has travelled to Tirana when he met his Albanian counterpart Ilir Meta.

Thaci in a Tweet said that they discussed bilateral cooperation and resuming of normalcy after COVID-19 pandemic. “Discussed bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Albania towards safely resuming normalcy in our societies as the only way to rebuild economy and strengthen the resilience of our peoples in the wake of the unprecedented pandemic,” Thaci wrote on Twitter. This is the first meeting of Kosovo and Albania leaders since the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in March which forced both countries shut their borders. Last week Governments of the two countries took measures to ease restrictions and open the border. /GazetaExpress/
