President Osmani convenes security structures after Kosovo Police was attacked in the north

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani convened Friday security structures to discuss recent developments following the attacks against the Kosovo Police members in northern part of the country, Gazeta Express reports.

A source told Gazeta Express that during urgent meeting of the security structures of Kosovo it was discussed on the security and steps which needs to be taken. During an urgent press conference on Friday Minister of Interior Xhelal Svecla and General Director of Kosovo Police, Samedin Mehmeti, announced that Kosovo Police officers have been attacked in the north. They stated that Friday’s attack involved gun shots and hand grenades was the fourth in a row over the last three days.
