Nine new COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in Kosovo

Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health reported 704 new cases and nine COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The Institute in its daily report said that health authorities have carried out 1,651 tests in the last 24 hours and of them 704 are tested positive with coronavirus. Latest data show that 391 people have recovered from the virus bringing the number of those recovered to 22,137. The number of those tested positive since the first case was confirmed in early March has reached 36,253.

948 patients have lost their lives at Kosovo hospitals since the COVID-19 outbreak began. There are currently 13,168 active cases in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
