Kurti: New Kosovo Govt working on Saturday to ‘serve’ Serbia

Vetevendosje leader and former prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has reacted after Kosovo Government decided on Saturday to remove the trade barriers with Serbia, introduced by his Government last month.

Kurti said the Government led by Avdullah Hoti is meeting also on Saturday to remove reciprocity with Serbia, Gazeya Express reports. Kurti’s statements on Facebook:

Illegal in Kosovo and serving Serbia

The Government works also on Saturday only to remove the reciprocity with Serbia. Kosovo has countless social and economic problems, but these are not prioritised comparing with Serbia’s request. This is the illegal government of Kosovo,” Kurti wrote.

Kurti’s Government was ousted in a successful no-confidence vote in parliament on 25 March triggered by his former coalition partner the LDK. On 3 June, the Parliament voted new Government led by Avdullah Hoti of the LDk in coalition with other parties AAK, Nisma, AKR and minorities. Kurti insists new Government is illegal because distorts citizens will expressed in elections last year and said that protests are inevitable against the Government led by his former deputy, Avdullah Hoti. /GazetaExpress/
