Kosovo surpasses 24,000 active COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths in single day

Kosovo has now 24,939 active COVID-19 cases, with 2,295 new infections reported in the last 24 hours, the National Institute of Public Health announced in its daily update.

According to the updated data of the Institute 18 cases of death have been reported in the last 24 hours. Of 12,406 tests, 2,295 citizens tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. 1.183 citizens have recovered today, while the total number of citizens recovered is 109,786. The total number of active cases is 24.939.

The Institute data show that 16,862 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours. 747,898 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far in Kosovo. To date, 256,235 citizens have been vaccinated with the second dose. /GazetaExpress/
