Kosovo reports 609 new cases of COVID-19, 13 deaths

Kosovo health authorities reported 609 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases in the country since the start of the pandemic to 35.549. Of them, 12.864 are active.

The National Institute of Public Health also reported 13 more deaths linked to the disease, for a total of 939 deaths since the first case was confirmed in early March.

Capital Pristina reported the highest increase in cases of all Kosovo, with 276, followed by Mitrovica (53), Gjilan (35), and Podujeva (30 cases). The Institute in its daily report said that health authorities have tested 1,590 people over the last 24 hours. Also, the report data show that 350 people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. /GazetaExpress/
